K9 - Email Client

I tried many email clients and they all have issues, heard a lot about K9 email client, never able to setup. Installed it many times and removed it many times because, i could not managed to setup my hotmail email account.

But now i managed to find on an online forum perfect pop3 settings and they worked. Here is the link and I have copied settings as well for convenience.

Incoming:
Username: blahdeblah@hotmail.co.uk
Password: your password
POP server: pop3.live.com
Port: 995
Security type: SSL (always)

Outgoing:
SMTP server: smtp.live.com
Port: 25 / 587
Security type: TLS (always)
Username: blahdeblah@hotmail.co.uk
Password: your password

Features:

        I found many features of K9 helpful, specially deletion of email from server and syncing folders.

K9 is full of features and surprises. Following are the ones i have noticed, if you find any good features please write them in comments.

1.   Ability to select multiple messages.
2. Swipe right to left in email view to go to next email and left to right to go to previous email.
3. Setup folder poll frequency.
4. One of the best features is folder selection, that means i can select folder to store email on SD Card.
5. Very funcky LED colour selector, if your phone supports multi-colour LED.

I will keep adding features if i find any.
