Samsung Galaxy tab 7.7 experience

I recently bought Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7. It's a very nice product and i am very happy with it and i can see why Apple is annoyed by it, and suing Samsung here and there because Samsung galaxy tab 7.7 came in Nov 2011 and Apple iPad mini came in Nov 2012, even then Samsung is better.

  1. Galaxy has fron 2MP and Back 3MP camera
    1. iPad mini has 1.2 front and 5MP back camera
  2. Galaxy has GPS
    1. No GPS in iPad mini unfortunately
  3. Galaxy has 1GB of RAM
    1. iPad mini 512 MB (Not enough for good gaming experience)
  4. Galaxy has 1.4 Ghz dual core
    1. iPad mini has Apple A5 processor, i would say 1.4 dual core is equal to this
  5. Galaxy has true HD resolution, 1280 by 800
    1. iPad mini cant match that!
  6. Galaxy has 7.7inc screen with better resolution
    1. mini has 7.9 inc screen with less resolution
  7. Galaxy has SD card
    1. No SD Card in iPad mini
  8. Galaxy support HDMI
    1. No HDMI in iPad mini

Why am i comparing all this? i dont you to buy either, i just want you to consider your options if you are buying any of them.

If you are heavy apple user then think carefully, you might have bought applications on iPad and you might have to buy them again in Android... Think and then think again.

Everyone will be getting Samsung Galaxy SII Update but not ME

I wanted my Samsung to get updated via Kies, but i could not. So i emailed samsung customer support and i got a strange answer. Following is my email and their reply.

Clearly samsung is struggling to manage last number of mobile devices and support.

Obviously i am going to give them number 1 for customer un-satisfaction.

Winamp on mobile - My good old childhood friend

I remember, when i first bought my own computer in 1999, the first thing i wanted to do is listen to music and through friends i found a music player called WinAmp. I found it great with all the plugins and skins.

And now i have stopped listening music on my computer. And now i listen music on my Android phone. Hate the default android music player. While searching for music player on Android market, i found my good old friend WinAmp.

I found some of the things amazing, like changing songs from locked screen. The wifi sync is simply the best, and it works well with the windows desktop client which is still the sleekest and most reliable music app on Windows in my opinion. The android app is sleek, simple and reliable. It almost never force closes, and blows the floor off the stock music app. I am very surprised by the consistency of WinAmp to survive in the market of big players, i am surprised no-one has bought WinAmp and destroyed the name.

Android market to Google Play... what the ---k?

I have a very good friend and i call him money waster, he knows exactly how to waste money and i get surprised, that he can manage to waste money on most silly things. Today i would say google is same, google knows exactly how to destroy brand. Android cool name cool product and suddenly you have this name change, yes android market is now Google Play, a boring name and most of all you are changing a running, successful product product.

Google did something similar to google wave, orkut and many other products. It seems like google has very good technical brain power but there is no one who can market google products in a way that makes google a cooler company and other companies like google and i would say even microsoft are taking over google by the min. Even the logo of google play looks like a cheap design. This morning when i checked my market i received a message saying "do you agree to Google play terms and conidtions" and i thought what the ---k? Is that a virus? btw we should know Android is full of viruses now, so be careful.

NinJmp a game with a Potential of competing with Angry Birds But..

NinJump, a very addictive game. i am not going to explain much about it as the following video says it all.

There is a big BUT involved in this game. NinJump is a very good concept made by Backflip studios. But (the but i was talking about before) when you start playing, you play play and play then you fall, what happens next is that you start from start, people hate this, why not there are stages, levels and different worlds, WHY NOT? In the market game is getting good review but people will loose interest if there is not intelligence behind it. You can download the game from Android and Apple App Store. The best part is that this game is free, try it and see!
